This adorable Red Eyed Tree Frog plushie is a wonderful addition to reptile and amphibian attractions, nature stores, museum and botanical garden gift shops, and more!
The Red-Eyed Tree Frog (Agalychnis callidryas) is a striking amphibian native to the tropical rainforests of Central America. Famous for its vivid red eyes, bright green body, and flashes of blue and yellow on its sides and legs, it relies on camouflage by day and startling predators with its sudden burst of color at night. Nocturnal and highly arboreal, it spends most of its life clinging to leaves with its specialized sticky toe pads. Although not poisonous, its dramatic appearance and quick leaps serve as effective defenses, making it one of the most recognizable and iconic symbols of rainforest biodiversity.
